Rainbows

A rainbow is a perspective phenomenon caused by light refraction and dispersion in water droplets, creating a multicoloured arc opposite the Sun. It can form from various sources of airborne water, like rain, mist, or spray. A primary rainbow has red on the outer edge and violet on the inside, caused by refraction and reflection of light in water droplets. A double rainbow features an outer arc with reversed colours due to light reflecting twice inside the droplet.
