Research and Collaboration
The PRC welcomes contact from individuals and organisations working in perspective, vision, optics, art history, drawing, photography, cinema, architecture, computer graphics, virtual reality, artificial intelligence, scientific imaging, visual perception and spatial representation.
We also welcome corrections, references, overlooked or little-known sources, unpublished materials, historical documents, visual examples and suggestions that may strengthen the accuracy and scope of the PRC archive.
Specialist Consultation
The Perspective Research Centre offers specialist consultation on problems involving visual, optical, geometrical and graphical perspective. Advice can be provided for artists, architects, designers, photographers, filmmakers, researchers, educators, publishers and technology developers.
Consultation may include:
- analysis of difficult perspective problems;
- evaluation or correction of diagrams, images and visual constructions;
- advice on terminology, classification and historical sources;
- guidance for publications, exhibitions, lectures and educational projects;
- consultation on perspective in photography, cinema, computer graphics, virtual reality and related technologies.
