Three-dimensional or 3-D art is any artistic creation that occupies physical space using height, width, and depth, allowing it to be viewed from multiple angles. It spans traditional mediums like physical sculpture, metal wall art, and ceramics, to modern digital designs.
Patently 3-D artworks should be designed and built with a recognition that they will be viewed from a certain station or eye point, viewing position, or distance/angle/aspect; and accordingly, perspective phenomena should be taken into account.

- Assemblage: Creating immersive or decorative pieces using found objects, papier-mâché, or everyday materials.
